Dada S.p.A will add data provided by the user to its electronic databases. They will be responsible for handling this data. The registered office is at 12, Borgo degli Albizi, Florence, Italy. The databases are kept on Dada servers in a reserved section of the Inet S.p.A. farm server at 85 Via Darwin, Settimo Milanese, Milan, Italy.
Users’ personal data will be handled by Dada S.p.A. in respect of privacy protection principles established by Legislative Decree No. 196, dated June 30, 2003 and by other regulations in force.
Two kinds of personal data are requested on the personal data form: mandatory and optional. The provision of mandatory data and the relative treatment for the aforementioned purposes are associated with the carrying out of the services mentioned. Should the user refuse to supply such data or refuse to have this data handled, it would no longer be possible for the user to benefit from Dada services.
Optional data collected is used to aid Dada offer an ever higher quality of service and will be handled for the purposes mentioned above. The user is free to decide whether to provide this information or not.
Dada receives and automatically records some data on its own servers, in particular the IP address, from the user’s browser at the time of data collection and in some cases, while Dada services are in use.
Dada handles users’ personal data according to Legislative Decree 196/2003, that is the collection, recording, classification, stocking, processing, alteration, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection and any other operation that would help provide services, including passing data to third parties where necessary, using automatic and electronic means and in full respect of current laws. Such data may also be stored in data banks or archives.
The main purposes for handling personal data are as follows:
- to supply services;
- to verify the quality of the services provided;
- to comply with fiscal and accounting requirements;
- in case of illegal acts where required by law;
- statistical enquiries.
If the user grants consent specifically:
- to supply information and/or offers concerning products, services or initiatives offered or promoted by Dada and/or associate companies and/or subsidiaries, as well as commercial partners and outsourcers, without this meaning that personal data will be passed to third parties;
- to investigate service quality and level of user satisfaction, carried out either directly or with the help of specialised companies.
The user may access his data at any given time and exercise his rights notably article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003.
Dada informs you that according to article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, (that is cited in full for the user’s benefit), the user may exercise the following rights:

Art. 7- Right to access personal data and other rights.
1. The interested party has the right to know of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning themselves, even if this has yet to be registered, as well as the right to be informed of this in an intelligible manner.
2. The interested party has the right to know:
a) The source of their personal data;
b) How and for what purposes data will be handled;
c) Methods used should data be handled electronically;
d) Personal details of those in charge, managers and the designed representative in accordance with art. 5, comma 2;
e) Personal details of subjects or categories of subjects to whom personal data may be
passed or who can access the data as designed representatives in Italy, persons in charge or instructed agents.
3. The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) Updates, rectification or if desired, the inclusion of data;
b) Cancellation, the right to anonymity or to block data handled in violation of the law, including data that is not necessary to conserve for the purposes for which the data was collected or consequently handled;
c) a declaration that the operations listed in letters a) and b) and their content have been made known to whoever the data was passed or diffused, except in the case where this proves impossible or if methods required would be disproportionate to the right being respected.
4. The interested party has the right to oppose, in whole or in part:
a) the handling of his personal data for legitimate reasons, even though it may be pertinent to the aims of data collection;
b) the handling of his personal data in order to be sent advertising material or for direct sales or to carry out market research or commercial communication.
