Milan, January 7, 2008 - The third edition of the TvBlog Awards starts today and runs through February 7th 2009. The TvBlog Awards 2009 are the only Italian TV awards where winners are exclusively decided by viewers who surf the net.
To vote for your favorite shows and participate in the TvBlog Awards 2009 go to TvBlog (http://www.tvblog.it) and cast your vote. There are 37 categories and voting is totally free.
Internet users can choose from their favorite TV shows, series, actors and actresses with a particular focus on programs found on SKY, as well as special categories dedicated to the top satellite channels.
Last year thousands of viewers voted, and the majority of winners (including Fabrizio Frizzi, Flavio Insinna, Rita Dalla Chiesa, Striscia la Notizia) posted thank-you notes on TvBlog to thank their fans.

What's new this year? Two very special academies will be handing out the awards: the first is formed by a group of journalists from the TV sector (including a few who work for TvBlog), the second is made up of a group of bloggers.

A spin off of the event, dedicated to fiction TV, is being planned for this year.
