Dada.net hosts Pangea’s campaigns in two special occasions throughout
year 2008: on Saint Valentine’s day and on March 8th, for the
International Woman’s day.
On Saint Valentine’s day on Pangea’s website visitors will be able to

African Medical and Research Foundation is the leading local health organization in Africa. Founded in 1957, AMREF began as a small organization based in Nairobi. Just half a century later, AMREF has grown into a leading international health organization and an essential reference point for health and development in East Africa.
Almost all AMREF workers are African and they work hand in hand with their communities. This is in fact AMREF’s philosophy: African populations should take the lead in the continent’s development, working toward the day that Africa will no longer need to depend on assistance from abroad.

The Foundation Theodora Onlus has been bringing joy and happiness to hospitalized children since 1999. The Dream Doctors, a professional team of artists trained to work in hospitals, visit 12 Italian hospitals per week. At the bedside of the children, these clown- doctors use creativity and improvisation to make contact through games, adapting their approach to the health conditions of each child.
The Dream Doctors began in Switzerland in 1993, thanks to two brothers, André and Jan Poulie, in memory of their mother Theodora.
In 1995 the first Dream Doctor met with children at the Cancer Center in Milan.
|
|
In June and July Dada has offered space on its portal for Theodora Onlus to promote public awareness on the topic of children in the hospital. Hospital stays, in particular long stays, can be traumatic experiences, especially for children. This is why the Dream Doctors are committed to alleviating physiological strain on children.

Active since 1922 in the fight against breast cancer, the aim of LILT
is to build a network of solidarity and information around breast
cancer patients. LILT is committed to three areas: prevention
(lifestyle), cultural awareness, and proving assistance to patients,
their families, rehabilitation and social re-introduction into society.
|
|
During the month of October Dada.net offered space, on some of its
channels to Nastro Rosa, the Italian branch of the Pink Ribbon Breast
Cancer Awareness Campaign. Founded in 1989 in the United States with
the aim of creating cultural awareness for breast cancer prevention,
the campaign was “exported” around the world and during the month of
October numerous initiatives took place to convey the message of
prevention and work toward eradicating breast cancer around the world.
Many women are mothers and mothers represent the primary source of life
and security for a child. Awakening public opinion in women on the need
for prevention means protecting the future of children.

The Pediatric Hospital Bambino Gesù was established in 1869 thanks to
the act of love of a family sensitive to the needs of less fortunate
children, the Salviati family. It began with a room having four beds
and over the years, and thanks to the work of thousands of
collaborators, it has now become the present day reality, property of
the Holy See. The Hospital and Care Institution is projected into the
future and in line with the today’s progress, while also based on the
Christian principles of assisting and respecting individuals.
|
|
In the month of November Dada supported the Pediatric Hospital Bambino
Gesù. This year Dada has decided to give a gift of hope to children
with Leukemia who require bone marrow transplants and assist children
from underdeveloped countries who don’t have access to healthcare or
assistance. The campaign “Illuminate Christmas with the Constellation
of the Hospital Bambino Gesù” invites people to make a donation to the
association. They will receive a luminescent decalcomania to put in
their window to show their support for the Constellation of the
Pediatric Hospital Bambino Gesù.
