On Friday November 9th, at Distillerie Clandestine: Splinder’s bloggers will have a party in Rome … also presenting the book “Vita da Blogger”!
After the success of the 2006 first edition in Milan, Splinder’s bloggers meet live in Rome
Rome, November 8th 2007 – Splinder Night’s second edition is ready to “take off” in Rome. The party, born to accomplish Splinder’s bloggers desire to meet other members of the community face to face, is about to begin. It’s the biggest blogger community in Italy. From virtual to real, contacts made thanks to a keyboard, become real people to meet and talk to during the party and possibly even after.
Thanks to the blog [http://www.splindernight.splinder.com], created for the occasion, members of Splinder’s community were able to express their opinions and give suggestions on how, where and when they wanted their party to take place. In a very “collaborative” way, the party has day by day been organized in order to satisfy their needs. Bloggers will be contributing during the party by taking photographs, videos and by putting their music and organizational skills at everybody’s disposal.
Bloggers will also take turns in taking part as editorial staff of “
Splinder Night’s live blogging” [http://www.splindernight.splinder.com/], an idea born to allow those members who will not be able to be in Rome that night, to interact in real time during the party by sending comments and requests and be updated on what is going on thanks to the upload of photos, videos and stories.
The party will also be the occasion to present in preview the book “
Vita da blogger”, edited by Marco Palombi, Roberto Lo Jacono, Paolo Murgia, Simona Andalo – Splinder (2007): a collection of stories of women and men whose lives have changed thanks to the virtual presence they have on their blogs.
Splinder’s Night celebrations will begin at
8:00 pm at Distillerie Clandestine (Via Libetta 13, area Ostiense). The party is free of charge – you just need to have a blog on Splinder and sign-in online at this link http://www.splinder.com/night/list. Many people, just like the previous years, have already signed in.
