Dada’s experience comes from over 10 years of managing both superEva (www.superEva.it) and Clarence (www.clarence.com), one of the first Italian consumer-oriented web portal networks. These sites were successfully transformed from “generic” sites into successful web portals offering a mix of web and wireless products and services.

The consumer offering of Dada - expressed through the community Dada.net (www.dada.net) – is characterized by a rich range of digital community and entertainment products and services to communicate entertain and educate. These services are accessible both via the PC and the mobile phone (the latter using SMS/MMS technologies and on the “Decks” - the micro-portals of the main mobile phone operators). The uniqueness of the Dada services is the collection of a vast number of applications and a rich library of content, from Entertainment/Infotainment to Social Networking and Dating, into one single all inclusive subscription, accessible via web and mobile.
Through its business unit DadaPro and the brand Dada Ad, Dada is able to develop advertising solutions on the internet as well as on the UMTS portals of mobile phone operators. Dada Ad is in fact the advertising agency for Dada and exclusively manages advertising space on 3 Italia and Vodafone, in addition to advertising space on well-known websites and portals.
DadaPro also combines the activities of Register.it S.p.A., historic leader in the registration of internet domains and the management of the online presence of people and companies, which in 2006 acquired Nominalia S.L. and in July 2007, Namesco Ltd., top players in Spain and the UK in the hosting and domain sector.
Within Dada Group there is also Upoc Networks Inc., a well established leader in providing Web and mobile value added services in the USA. In addition Splinder and Motime, leading international players in the blogging and social networking community and Blogo, the most popular network of vertical blogs in Italy.
July 16, 2007 Dada announced the creation of the joint venture “Dada Entertainment LLC”, product of cooperation between Dada and SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT, which is aimed at developing a new offering of entertainment and services accessible via web and via mobile. 50% of Dada Entertainment LLC is held by Dada and the remaining 50% by SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT. Massimiliano Pellegrini has been appointed CEO of Dada Entertainment in October 2007.
